Tara Collin joins as our Athletic Therapist for 2016


We are very happy to announce that Tara Collin is joining our team:

Tara has always had a strong interest in sports, even from a young age. In high school she was attracted to the sports medicine program where she developed her knowledge and skills working with her high school football team for 3 years. During University she began working with the Calgary Royals Athletic Association and with the Alberta Lacrosse Association. She went to Whitby, ON with the Team Alberta Peewee, Bantam and Midget teams for two years and also worked with Jr B Lacrosse and was involved with winning a National Championship with the Mounties in 2009. Since then she has worked primarily hockey but has experience in many other sports including wrestling, rugby and baseball.

Tara graduated from the University of Calgary with a Kinesiology Degree and completed the Athletic Therapy Advanced Certificate at Mount Royal University in 2011 and began her Athletic Therapy business after graduating. She has been working with Edge School for Athletes ever since as well as providing clinical rehab for her athletes.

Tara is excited to get back into game of lacrosse and with a goal to keep her athletes strong and healthy for a successful season!
