Sunday, July 14, 2019 is the Silvertips' annual Memorial Game, honouring Jaydon Sommerfeld and Jordan McKinnon. There will be a pre-game ceremony where the Silvertips will be awarding a Memorial Bursary to a player on our team who best represents our mission statement - To create well-rounded, community orientated lacrosse players who will act as role models on and off the floor. Past recipients have been Craig Campbell, Boedy Shields and Tanner Lam.
As well, Rockyview Rage Minor Lacrosse Association award a bursary to someone that has graduated from a Midget Rage team last year and is now playing junior lacrosse. This does not have to be a Silvertip, however past recipients have been Silvertips - Tyson Hribnak/Boedy Shields (shared), Keelan Degethoff, and Nolan Oakey.
Come on out to Spray Lake Totem 1 in Cochrane to see the last game of the regular season and help us remember two important players in our #SilvertipsLaxFamily.
